Oulun Energia Oy, the largest energy group in Northern Finland, will implement the IFS Cloud ERP system. The new ERP solution will be implemented across the entire Oulun Energia Group. The IFS Cloud ERP system is delivered by Aveso Oy, Finland’s leading IFS Channel Partner. Oulun Energia and Aveso have agreed to carry out this extensive ERP implementation project during 2025–2026.
Goals of Oulun Energia’s ERP implementation
Oulun Energia wanted a modern ERP solution with open interfaces that meets energy-industry regulation and the company’s business needs. A key goal was to choose a flexible and adaptable system with standard features that meet end-user requirements. The solution’s scalability and integration capabilities also support future changes in both the business and regulation. Following a public tender process, Oulun Energia selected the modern, cloud-based IFS Cloud ERP system. The solution provides extensive capabilities in one platform and supports Oulun Energia’s business processes now and in the future.

IFS Cloud to support Oulun Energia’s efforts in the circular economy
The Oulun Energia Group is strongly committed to the circular economy and improving material efficiency. The Group’s subsidiary Syklo Oy develops circular economy services and will make significant future investments in circular economy innovations and in developing the industry.
The investment in IFS Cloud ERP seamlessly supports Oulun Energia’s plans to grow its business through Syklo Oy’s factory projects. The IFS Cloud ERP solution will be used within the Syklo Group for production planning and production control at its production facilities.
