Ella\u2019s role as HR Manager at Aveso combines strong business understanding with a genuine interest in people. When a new employee joins Aveso, Ella helps make sure the path from recruitment through every stage of employment is clear and people-focused. She develops HR practices to help employees feel supported, motivated and well at Aveso.<\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

A career path that led to HR<\/h3>\n

Ella has worked at Aveso for a year and a half. Before joining Aveso, she worked as a Store Manager and later as a Key Account Manager. Those roles gave her a solid foundation in working with people and deepened her understanding of everyday business and its varying needs.<\/p>\n

\u201cI worked for over eight years as a Store Manager. I was responsible for areas like purchasing, staffing and improving the customer loyalty program. After becoming a mother, I started looking for new challenges. I became interested in marketing and B2B, so I moved into digital marketing as a Key Account Manager. I worked with different customer accounts and helped develop the business through marketing.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As her career progressed, Ella became more interested in HR and People & Culture topics. Her own employee experiences also strengthened her motivation to develop business through people and build more human-centered ways of working.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to learn more about HR, so I started studying for a new degree with a strong focus on HR.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Today, Ella manages a wide range of HR responsibilities at Aveso. Her work covers many areas, such as coordinating recruitment, supporting employees through different stages of employment and supporting wellbeing at work.<\/p>\n

A role where every day brings something new<\/h3>\n

The day-to-day work of an HR Manager is very varied.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy daily tasks cover a wide range of HR topics. I advise on employment matters, interpret labour legislation and provide guidance to employees. I monitor compliance with statutory requirements, support management and supervisors with HR-related questions, and report on HR matters to senior management. I also work as the Occupational Safety Manager, and I handle many administrative support tasks as well.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Alongside legal and administrative responsibilities, Ella plans and coordinates events such as Aveso\u2019s competence days, as well as summer and winter team days. She also promotes employee wellbeing in close cooperation with occupational health services. These tasks bring a good balance to the more formal side of the role.<\/p>\n

Ella values how much she can influence things in her role and how the work keeps her learning and improving.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been able to grow as an HR professional and contribute to Aveso\u2019s business development. I work independently and can shape my role, which I really enjoy. People listen to new ideas here, and we talk openly.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

An open culture and a diverse community<\/h3>\n

Ella sees employee satisfaction as a key priority.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven though we also work remotely, we want people to enjoy being in our offices and seeing each other regularly. We are very flexible. You can see that in everyday life through flexible working hours and by considering employees\u2019 personal needs. We also build team spirit through leisure activities. We have a recreation fund that supports group activities. For example, we go to sports games, exercise together indoors or outdoors and try new activities.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Ella also sees diversity as one of Aveso\u2019s biggest strengths.<\/p>\n

\u201cAveso has a truly great team where everyone can be themselves. Our open and accepting work culture supports that. People come from different backgrounds, which adds real value. We have people of many ages, those with long careers and those just starting out. It creates balance, and I think it\u2019s one of the most important sources of strength in our community.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n
