Bang &\u00a0<\/span>Bonsomer<\/span>\u00a0Group Oy, which manufactures and supplies raw materials and additives for various industrial sectors,\u00a0<\/span>upgraded<\/span>\u00a0its enterprise resource planning system to IFS Cloud.\u00a0<\/span>The\u00a0<\/span>IFS Cloud implementation project was carried out in collaboration with IFS partner Aveso Oy. IFS Cloud is used\u00a0<\/span>extensively across<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Bang<\/span>\u00a0&\u00a0<\/span>Bonsomer<\/span>\u00a0group.\u00a0<\/span>The s<\/span>ystem is\u00a0<\/span>utilized<\/span>\u00a0in areas such as finance, procurement, sales, warehouse management,\u00a0<\/span>manufacturing<\/span>\u00a0and maintenance.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

Bang &\u00a0<\/span>Bonsomer<\/span>\u00a0initiated the ERP renewal during a period of business growth and expansion, while building a foundation for future growth. The ERP renewal was driven by a legacy\u00a0<\/span>on-premise<\/span>\u00a0environment and a strategic goal to support geographic expansion.\u00a0<\/span>The c<\/span>ompany already\u00a0<\/span>anticipated<\/span>\u00a0that future acquisitions and expansion, particularly in\u00a0<\/span>the Nordics<\/span>\u00a0and Central Europe, would require a scalable and supported ERP solution.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n

After implementation,\u00a0one of the clearest benefits has been how easy the system has been to adopt. An ERP project only succeeds if the right people have enough time to\u00a0participate. Without sufficient resources, execution becomes incomplete and risks increase. On top of this, testing is critical and cannot be excessive.\u00a0In practice, anything that has not been tested is not yet ready for production.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
