New release: Aveso Data Studio 1.9.0 enhances data management with greater control and efficiency  

Continuous development and version updates as key to a modern system   

Ongoing development is an essential part of any modern software product strategy. Releasing new versions ensures technological relevance and adapts to the evolving needs of clients. Updates help improve performance, data security and user experience, while maintaining compatibility with other systems and platforms. This development approach also drives Aveso to regularly release new versions of Aveso Data Studio. Many of the new functionalities stem from practical needs identified in various client projects over the years.

New functionalities in Aveso Data Studio 1.9.0 

1. Master Data functionality: a more static structure and controlled modifications 

Significant improvements have been made to the Master Data functionality, promoting smoother data transfers and more secure data management.

• More static structure: Strengthens master data’s role as a central and reliable information source. 

• Controlled modifications: Editing and updating master data is now supported by dedicated tools that ensure data integrity, reliable logging and minimized error risk. 

• New data transfer feature: Master data can now be synced directly to the target system via the “Load” button, making data export more seamless. 

• Aligned user interface: The Master Data functionality now follows the same structure as the Dataset functionality, enhancing the overall user experience.

2. Expanded Excel export and SQL generation options

Export capabilities have been broadened to cover more views, simplifying documentation, comparison and further processing of data. 

• Excel exports: Users can now export Group lists, Value lists and Rules to Excel with a single click, making reporting faster and facilitating configuration sharing. 

• SQL script generation: SQL scripts can now be generated from Models, Groups, Value lists and Rules, streamlining bulk duplication during development.

3. General enhancements and new features for rule management 

In the latest version, error messages have been made more informative, and rule management has been equipped with new functions.  

• Execution order validation: A one-click validation tool helps identify inconsistencies in the execution order of dependent rules more efficiently. 

• Parent rule listing and correction function: This feature allows rule structures to be corrected quickly without manual analysis. 

• Improved error messages 

• Filtered data export from datasets: The “Export filtered” button is now available in the Dataset view when a Custom filter is set. 

• Code cleanup and bug fixes: As always, this update includes minor bug fixes that enhance overall system performance.
